Job summary

Alsco is seeking a Maintenance Worker responsible for regular preventative maintenance of large industrial textile processing equipment and facility upkeep. You will assist the Maintenance Technician and the Chief Engineer, reporting to the Chief Engineer, while adhering to safety policies and industry standards.

The role requires basic maintenance tasks, use of power and hand tools, and effective communication in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and preventative maintenance on large industrial textile equipment.
• Assist Maintenance Technician and Chief Engineer as required.
• Monitor oil levels and grease fittings; electrical troubleshooting.
• Follow safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Help improve maintenance processes to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with plant personnel; drive/pick up parts as needed.
