Job summary

Professional Placement Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Engineer for a growing manufacturing operation in Solon, OH. This hands-on role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting across 480V three-phase systems, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, welding/fabrication, and basic PLCs.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, with a focus on preventive maintenance and rapid repair of equipment to minimize

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with 480V three‑phase systems, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings.
• MIG/Arc welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Perform preventive maintenance and rapid downtime repair.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Weld and fabricate as needed for equipment repair and modification.
• Assist in extrusion or plastics processes if applicable.

We’re looking for a hands‑on maintenance professional who can troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical equipment. Strong experience with 480V three‑phase electrical, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, welding/fabrication, and basic PLC troubleshooting is highly desirable.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred

• 110V/240V/480V and three‑phase experience
