Malco Products Inc. in Barberton, OH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance / Electrician to perform preventative maintenance, electrical repairs, and machinery upgrades. The role requires reading diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals, plus PLC and control panel familiarity.

You must lift up to 50 lbs regularly, work overtime, pass respirator and forklift requirements, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to keep equipment running safely.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work regular shift and overtime.
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Must read, write and do basic math in English.
• Must be able to communicate and work with peers/management.
• Must pass respirator medical evaluation and fit test and operate a respirator.
• Must pass forklift certification and safely operate a forklift.
• Must work in varied exterior weather conditions and temperatures.
• Must have a toolbox and maintenance tools and know proper tool use.

Responsabilités

• Ensure operation and appearance of machinery by completing preventative maintenance, inspections, setups, repairs and upgrades.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in motors, control panels, PLCs, conveyors, and machinery.
• Install wiring, lighting, breakers, transformers, and electrical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain maintenance logs, repair records and work orders.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment.
