Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for River Valley Ingredients in Scranton. You will maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical systems, read schematics, and install conduit across shifts A-D.

The role requires knowledge of 110/240/480-volt AC and DC drives, OSHA/NEC compliance, and the ability to lift 60+ lbs. You must pass a urinalysis and meet eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 months of industrial maintenance work experience listed on application.
• Prefer electrical knowledge/skills or enrollment/degree in electrical field.
• Must be willing to work shift A, B, C, or D.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical systems in the plant and troubleshoot issues.
• Read schematics and design basic electrical systems.
• Install/replace conduit and estimate wire sizes.
• Operate heavy industrial equipment as needed.
• Follow OSHA and NEC codes and plant safety policies.
