Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Electrician Maintenance EC01–EC08 for our facilities in Scranton. You will apply your knowledge of 110/240/480-volt AC motors, DC drives, reading schematics, and conduit installation to maintain and upgrade plant electrical systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, lifting over 60 lbs, welding, rigging, and operating cranes. Weekend work, travel to other facilities, and extended shifts may be required. OSHA/NEC compliance is essential.

Qualifications

1+ year of accumulative electrical or industrial maintenance or millwright experience required.
Must have a good working knowledge of OSHA/NEC Codes and Plant Safety Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

Be willing to work weekends and any/all hours needed to complete the project.
Travel to other facilities as required to complete jobs.
Be able to work more than 12 hours if needed.
Must be able to line up pipe runs and calculate estimated completion times.
Must have the ability to weld and use cutting tools (torch, plasma cutter).
Operate heavy industrial equipment such as crane, boom lift, scissor lift, telehandler, forklift.
