Job summary

IDF in Missouri seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to maintain building and plant electrical systems, troubleshoot, and support production.

You will perform preventative maintenance, read schematics, work with VFDs and high/low voltage systems, and follow strict safety protocols.

This role requires teamwork with maintenance and production staff, willingness to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, nights, and climb stairs.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance as an electrician or an electrical certificate/degree.
• Experience with relays, proximity switches, level and temperature controls.
• Familiarity with VFDs and field controls.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics; safety procedures and PPE.
• Capable of working with high, low voltage and complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building, mechanical and electrical problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair motor starter and switching circuits.
• Read manuals and schematics; understand chemical handling procedures.
• Safely rebuild electrical equipment and coordinate with parts room.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE; work with limited supervision.
