Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyperson electrician status.
• Knowledge of electrical theory and applicable codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and install/repair electrical systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Boom/scissor lift license may be required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electrical distribution systems.
• Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs and fixtures.
• Installs electrical services, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment and systems.
• Researches, purchases and inventories parts, chemicals, and supplies.
• Maintains service and repair records and safety compliance.
• Responds to routine and emergency maintenance calls.
• May train and direct other maintenance staff and coordinate with plant personnel.
• Works safely to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
