Job summary

Neiman Enterprises, Inc. seeks an Oregon Licensed Electrician to join our industrial maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing electrical systems and mechanical equipment, reading schematics, and coordinating with production for start-up readiness.

The candidate should have an LME license and journeyman status, with 6+ months manufacturing maintenance and at least 1 year of maintenance experience. Strong blueprint reading and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an LME license and be a journeyman electrician.
• 6+ months manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read and understand test meters.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance of boilers, air compressors, and hydraulics.
• Basic math skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics/diagrams and follow preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain and repair automated, hydraulic equipment, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain lighting inside and outside the mill.
• Ensure equipment is ready for production start-up.
• Repair worn or damaged equipment and perform modifications.
• Assist production as needed and follow safety rules.
• Perform maintenance tasks with proper techniques and speeds.
