Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to repair and maintain industrial machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position is Temp-to-Hire (3+ months) with overtime available but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include maintaining CNC machines, press brakes, coating lines and other equipment, reading blueprints/schematics, and performing electrical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining CNC equipment and manufacturing lines.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of CNC machines, Press Brakes, powder coating lines, welding cells and other equipment.
• Maintain asset reliability to a high standard.
• Utilize a CMMS for maintenance and repair operations.
• Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and facilities as needed.
• Lubrication, filter changes and standard preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshooting in machine breakdown situations.
• Highlight faults or damage to machine, guarding or tooling.
• Work with machine operators to identify issues before failure.
• Follow safe work practices.
