Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians to repair industrial machinery, supporting CNC machines, powder coating lines, welding cells and other equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, manage assets with a CMMS, read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot breakdowns, and work closely with operators to prevent issues.

Qualifications

2+ years of machine maintenance in a CNC environment.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and documentation.
Computer literate with manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of CNC machines, powder coating lines, welding cells, and other equipment.
Maintaining asset reliability to a high standard.
Utilizing a CMMS for enabling efficient maintenance and repair operations.
Equipment lubrication, filter changes and standard preventative maintenance.
Equipment troubleshooting in machine breakdown situations.
Highlighting faults or damage to the machine, guarding or tooling.
Working closely with machine operators to identify potential issues prior to failure.
Utilizing safe work practices.
