Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician (3rd Shift)

Job Description

Industrial Maintenance Electricians are responsible for constructing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all electrical and electronic equipment.

Position Details

Location: 3rd Shift

Salary: $43.81/hour

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Examine machinery to identify malfunctions or performance issues, determine corrective actions, and implement repair plans.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, program logic diagrams, and other instructions; familiar with wiring conventions, electrical symbols, and the Electric Code.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical distribution equipment including transformers, circuit protection devices, switchgear, load center panels, and bus duct.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical control equipment such as relay logic panels, programmable controllers, and solid-state control devices.
• Use test equipment to troubleshoot electrical and control circuits and components.
• Maintain general lighting systems and replace lamps as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Demonstrate effective time management and teamwork skills.
• Operate aerial lifts safely.
• Assist in training fellow electricians and apprentices.
• Be available during scheduled shutdowns and outages.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety practices and policies.

Qualifications

• Accredited Journeyman’s credentials or equivalent training and industrial experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment.
