Job summary

PTC is seeking an Electrician to perform 3‑phase, 1000V electrical work, install, test and maintain wiring, equipment and controls for machines. You will diagnose malfunctions, locate breakdown causes, and connect circuits while following all PPE requirements and safety rules.

Responsibilities include observing codes, coordinating with vendors if needed, preparing maintenance reports, and ensuring safe operation during remodeling or service work. Strong repair and diagnostic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; electrician apprentice or journeyman preferred.
• At least 3–5 years of journeyman-level experience.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong safety culture and PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and controls for machines.
• Diagnose malfunctions and locate causes of breakdowns quickly.
• Observe safety regulations and PPE requirements during all tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors for non-repairable equipment and document actions.
• Prepare electrical maintenance reports and trend information.
