The Journeyman Electrician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across the facility to ensure safe, compliant operations. Responsibilities include wiring, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, reading schematics, and collaborating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years as Journeyman Electrician in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficient reading of blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and equipment per NEC and local regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools to locate issues.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards and defects; determine need for repair.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and technical docs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with system upgrades or modifications.
