Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to repair and perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment at the Chesterfield Plant, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair motors, drives, transformers, lighting, and control systems, read schematics and P&ID drawings, and document maintenance activities.

Requires a licensed Journeyman or state-certified apprenticeship in industrial settings, 2+ years' plant experience, and willingness

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman electrician or state-certified apprenticeship.
• Experience in chemical or refinery environments (min 2 years).
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Perform electrical preventive maintenance and document activities.
• Read manuals, schematics, and P&ID drawings; update maintenance records.
• Work overtime as required and perform confined space entries.
• Interface with manufacturers and technical support; support 24/7 operations.
• Lift and rig equipment; ensure safe operation in an industrial plant.
