Job summary

RRD is seeking an experienced Electrician/Technician for the 1st shift in Wisconsin to install, repair, troubleshoot, and test electrical systems and equipment across our manufacturing lines. You will read schematics, follow codes, use meters and tools, and ensure OSHA/LOTO safety standards are met while contributing to efficient production and quality control.

The role offers a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule, hourly pay of $45–$50, benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of sophisticated circuitry and controls in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, and service documents.
• Comfortable using digital multimeters, diagnostic software, calibration tools, precision measurement equipment, and general hand/power tools.
• Critical safety systems interlock and hazard awareness to avoid downtime and equipment damage.
• Must have skill in use of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronics components (resistors, capacitors, transistors).
• Applicable licenses or certifications required to perform these tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, test, and load electrical lines, circuits, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Follow electrical code, manuals, schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
• Connect power supply and data wiring between machines using hand tools and test equipment.
• Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance (OSHA/LOTO) during tasks.
• May diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
