Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. in Sussex, WI is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician on 1st shift (Mon-Thurs, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM).

The role involves installing and repairing electrical systems on industrial machinery, troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, and supporting project teams. Candidates should have an Associates degree or related certificate and 6+ years of experience, with PLC knowledge and training skills.

Qualifications

• A technical, Associates Degree or certificate in a maintenance related field.
• 6+ years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical/maintenance.
• Preferred experience on equipment and automation in metal fabrication, paint, and assembly operations.
• Ability to train apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical systems and components on industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot robotic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls issues in manufacturing.
• Support project managers and engineers on projects.
• Improve equipment downtime, safety, quality and productivity.
• Train maintenance technicians and share knowledge.
