Job summary

Diamond Plastics Corporation is seeking a skilled Maintenance/Electrician/Automation Technician for a day shift (Monday–Friday) in Lubbock, TX. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, PLCs, welding, and problem-solving to keep manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in rotating on-call coverage with overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with strong electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• PLC troubleshooting experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, inputs/outputs and equipment faults.
• Diagnose and repair motors, gearboxes, bearings, seals and related components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chilled water systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Fabricate and weld equipment support structures.
• Install, maintain and repair plant equipment and systems.
