Job summary

Diamond Plastics Corporation in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our manufacturing equipment and plant systems running safely and reliably on a day shift. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with rotating on-call responsibilities and overtime as needed.

The successful candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem solving, and is comfortable working with industrial equipment in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Safety-minded and dependable.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and expand technical skills.
• Able to participate in the rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Inspect equipment and components for wear, damage, or defects.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Repair and replace worn or defective parts.
• Set up and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Work with operators to identify and correct equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Assist with other plant maintenance needs as assigned.

KNOW THE SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday

40 hours per week

Rotating on-call responsibilities

Overtime and weekends as needed
