Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a detail-oriented Technical Writer for an established engineering and manufacturing organization. You will transform complex technical information into clear, accurate documentation, working closely with engineers, production, and assembly teams.

The role involves creating manuals, SOPs, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides for industrial machinery. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe tools is essential, with a hands-on manufacturing environment providing

Qualifications

• Experience developing technical manuals, assembly instructions, SOPs and operating procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical specs, and technical documentation.
• Create and maintain owner's manuals, maintenance instructions, and troubleshooting guides for industrial machinery.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, assemblers, and technicians to gather and validate information.
• Incorporate photos, illustrations, diagrams, and graphics into documentation.
• Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus Photoshop and Illustrator.

Responsibilities
