Job summary

Jayco is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair Millroom and other production machinery, including CNC routers and saws. You will troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and work closely with electricians and PLC technicians to improve reliability.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, familiarity with schematics, and the ability to handle varied tasks and priorities, with some exposure to VFD programming and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years maintenance and machine repair experience.
• Operate knowledge of multimeter, amp clamps, megger and electrical equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics and prints.
• Ability to work in awkward positions up to 50% of the time.
• Must be able to shift priorities based on critical failures.
• VFD programming experience is a plus.
• Experience with Onsrud/Weeke/Holzma saws, bag presses or glue applicators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and other components of industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Organize and maintain inventory of critical spares.
• Install and repair lift tables and accessories.
• Collaborate with electricians/PLC technicians in lamination rooms.
• Review failures using blueprints and schematics.
• Improve machinery reliability and uptime with group leaders.
• Troubleshoot and repair low voltage wiring/controls.
• Coordinate with other departments to restore production or plan downtime.
• Assume other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
