Job summary

Jayco Inc. is hiring a maintenance electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures across our facility in Indiana. You will handle preventive maintenance, special projects, and emergency repairs, with a focus on safety and code compliance.

The role requires hands-on work with CNC machines, 3-phase motor control, and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot a range of components and support HVAC and mechanical systems as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of journeyman electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Able to install and troubleshoot 3 phase motor control circuits and sensors/limit switches.
• Trouble shoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components.
• Knowledge/experience with computers and CNC programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Perform maintenance and repair of CNC machines.
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic components.
• Inspect systems to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Test circuits using ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure safety.
• Repair and install HVAC systems.
• Plan layout and installation based on job specs and local codes.
