Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Operator to oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery in Durham, North Carolina. The role requires hands-on preventive maintenance, parts handling, and quick repairs to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have at least 10 years in manufacturing, strong mechanical skills, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Onsite role with ample opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Some vocational or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prolonged standing and walking; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Cleans, oils, and lubricates moving parts.
• Records damaged, worn, or broken parts and orders replacements.
• Identifies causes of unexpected breakdowns and repairs machines.
• Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance.
• Makes modifications and conducts test runs as required.
