Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as an equipment technician in an industrial environment or equivalent setting.
• Solid understanding of basic troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient in the setup, adjustment, and operations of all equipment in the facilities.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems detected.
• Work with others to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Responsible for running, maintaining, and cleaning of the machinery.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Attention to detail to ensure the machine is properly cared for and the environment is held to food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Disposal and destruction of bad product and plant waste using grinding equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
