Job summary

Haleon is seeking a Machine Maintenance Mechanic in New York to perform routine inspections and repairs on mechanical equipment, respond to trouble calls, and document maintenance activities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in electrical and mechanical systems and able to read engineering drawings.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
• Ability to perform tasks in varying environments including outdoors, heights, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and comply with SOPs, FDA, OSHA and NY State regulations.
• Inspect and maintain on-site manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues; assist with electronic controls, sensors and drives.
• Document repair and maintenance activities with accurate records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve safety.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve processes and equipment.
