Job summary

HP Hood LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support our manufacturing facility in New York. Under supervision, you'll perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements include a GED or high school diploma, at least 3 years in manufacturing maintenance, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently. You must provide your own tools and complete safety tests.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general repairs & maintenance to facility and grounds as assigned.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance Programs.
• General maintenance including painting, building repairs, plumbing, electrical work, boiler maintenance and drain cleaning.
• Must have a background in electrical and PC.
• Experience in plumbing, refrigeration and equipment repair.
• Knowledge of electrical starters, switches and three-phase motors.
• Must provide your own hand tools.
• Responsible for inventory of parts for assigned area.
• Must pass pulmonary function test and respirator fit test annually.
• Any other duties assigned.
