Job summary

Five Star Management LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a dependable Machine and Facility Cleaner to perform thorough cleaning of industrial machines and equipment while maintaining cleanliness throughout the building. You will work with maintenance and production teams to clean according to procedures and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prefer prior industrial cleaning experience, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for long periods.
• Must work in hot, cold, or humid environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, as needed.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Clean and wipe down machines, equipment, and tools according to cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
• Remove dust, oil, grease, ink, or product residues from machines surfaces.
• Assist with deep cleaning during plant shutdowns or preventive maintenance activities.
• Clean walls, windows, doors, and overhead structures as assigned.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials following company procedures.
• Assist with special projects such as event cleanup, reorganizing spaces, or emergency spill response.
• Identify and report potential issues such as leaks, damaged parts, or unsafe conditions to prevent accidents or equipment failure.
