Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and wipe down machines, equipment, and tools according to cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
• Remove dust, oil, grease, ink, or product residues from machines surfaces.
• Assist with deep cleaning during plant shutdowns or preventive maintenance activities.
• Clean walls, windows, doors, and overhead structures as assigned.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste materials following company procedures.
• Assist with special projects such as event cleanup, reorganizing spaces, or emergency spill response.
• Identify and report potential issues such as leaks, damaged parts, or unsafe conditions to prevent accidents or equipment failure.

Job Location: Houston, TX 77041, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: General Labor, This position is responsible for performing thorough cleaning of industrial machines and equipment, as well as maintaining general cleanliness throughout the building, the cleaner works closely with the maintenance and production teams to ensure that machines are cleaned in accordance with company procedures and production schedules, without compromising safety or operations. The Machine and Facility Cleaner helps ensure the facility complies with all internal cleanliness standards and external health, safety, and environmental regulations.
