Job summary

Five Star Management LLC is seeking a Floor Sweeper Operator for our Houston facility. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the plant, focusing on car cleaning, floor maintenance, and custodial duties both inside and outside the building.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, reporting hazards, and ensuring walkways and work areas remain safe. Prior cleaning experience in manufacturing settings is preferred, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of custodial, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience required.
• Experience cleaning in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Previous responsibility for vehicle cleaning/detailing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub all plant floors.
• Clean and maintain floor safety markings and yellow guards.
• Clean entrance area where employees enter the facility.
• Maintain area organized and clean.
• Maintain and service the floor-cleaning machine regularly.
• Adhere to safety guidelines including forklift operation, load security, and reporting hazards.
• Conduct other duties as assigned by management.
