Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Machinery Lubrication Technician to perform lubrication, contamination control, and proactive maintenance on lubricated mechanical systems in Lafayette, IN. The role supports inventory coordination, oil analysis, and equipment maintenance across industrial operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring safe, efficient lubrication activities with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills and strong teamwork.
• Ability to work effectively in an unsupervised position.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Familiarity with OEM maintenance plans.
• Familiarity with advanced lubrication technology instructions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform lubrication for equipment and maintain contamination control.
• Coordinate inventory and routine ordering of products.
• Update scheduling systems and request maintenance work orders.
• Conduct field level oil analysis and sample shipping.
• Maintain and calibrate dispensing equipment.
