Job summary

Vestis Services is seeking a production associate for an industrial laundry facility. The role involves safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and out of the laundry facility, with strict adherence to safety procedures and batch tracking.

Responsibilities include operating washers/dryers, verifying batch tickets, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while meeting attendance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Checks all machine safety devices before operating equipment and records and signs the appropriate equipment safety form.
• When loading washer, retrieve sling from storage and maneuvers sling to the washer’s rails and in front of the washer.
• Positions washer/dryer in proper loading position, loads the washer/dryer, and starts the machine.
• Unloads washer and moves items to the cart, placing batch tickets on top.
• Unloads dryer, ensures items are at proper moisture levels and stores items in appropriate area.
