Job summary

Colonial Group in Springfield, IL is seeking a 2nd Shift team member to support an industrial laundry facility. The role involves safely and accurately handling merchandise, preparing slings, verifying counts on PUC cards, and maintaining a clean work area. Overtime may be required and weekends could occur.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepares appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Verifies merchandise type and quantity on the PUC card; segregates like items together in a sling.
• Identifies counts, and totals ruin or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
