Core Linen Services in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment in a commercial laundry environment. • Solid communication skills for effective coordination with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely, and a clear understanding of all safety procedures, including lockout/tag out, confined space entry, and working on hot equipment.
• Capability to maintain a clean and safe work area for self and others.
• Good working knowledge of mechanical systems, including experience in repairing and maintaining mechanical drive systems, conveyor systems, and overhead rail systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance activities according to schedule to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of maintenance and repairs, including work on overhead rail systems and conveyor systems.
• Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including external vendors, as required to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks, repairs, and new problems.
• Communicate equipment status to production supervisors, particularly any issues that could impact production or cause downtime, and provide updates when equipment is back online.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support plant operations and team objectives.
