Job summary

Vestis® is seeking a maintenance technician for an industrial laundry facility on Monday–Friday, 5am–1:30pm. The role involves maintaining high-volume washers and dryers, performing mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in the production area.

You will troubleshoot technical issues, order parts, and uphold preventative maintenance schedules while supporting a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3-5 years’ maintenance experience preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high-volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts, tools, and equipment per procurement policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance schedule and records for equipment.
• Disposes of waste solids and maintains housekeeping in the facility.
