Job summary

Vestis® operates a high-volume industrial laundry facility and is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated team. The role involves preventive maintenance, repair of laundry equipment, and ensuring safety and efficiency across daily operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 3–5 years in maintenance, with mechanical and basic electrical aptitude. The position requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to work a Monday–Friday shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with standard maintenance procedures and safety techniques.
• Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and required codes.
• Ability to follow training, written and verbal instructions.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all plant equipment including industrial washers/dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots using manuals and schematics; orders parts and tools as needed.
• Maintains Daily Schedule Control for maintenance and records.
• Performs wastewater handling and related housekeeping duties.
• Adheres to safety, lock-out/tag-out, and boiler/wastewater procedures.
