Job summary

Surfside Laundry Foley AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair industrial laundry equipment to keep systems operating at full capacity. Responsibilities include scheduling preventative maintenance, troubleshooting washers, boilers, and water treatment, and performing electrical and plumbing repairs.

A valid driver’s license is required and OSHA/LOTO familiarity is expected. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1 year mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a daily preventative maintenance and sanitation schedule.
• Repair and troubleshoot large industrial laundry equipment and systems (washers, dryers, ironers, boilers, pumps, water treatment).
• Observe and test system operation to locate malfunctions in controls, piping, pumps and related components.
• Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, switches, circuit boards, outlets and conduit as needed.
• Repair broken plumbing lines, replace pipes and fittings as necessary.
• Maintain concise maintenance records and documentation.
