Job summary

Surfside Laundry in Foley, AL is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our industrial laundry equipment, boilers, pumps, motors, and conveyors, ensuring production stays online.

This full-time role requires prior industrial maintenance and electrical experience, strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, boiler experience, and the ability to read manuals, diagrams, and basic equipment instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial laundry equipment, mechanical systems, electrical components, boilers, pumps, motors, conveyors, and related facility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and keep production equipment operating efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete timely repairs.
• Assist with boiler operation, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Perform equipment inspections and identify potential safety or maintenance concerns.
• Repair or replace parts, components, wiring, belts, bearings, motors, valves, and other equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and equipment operating standards.
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and facility repair projects as needed.

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Foley, AL

Pay: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full time

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial laundry equipment, mechanical systems, electrical components, boilers, pumps, motors, conveyors, and related facility equipment.
