Surfside Laundry in Foley, AL is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to service a high-volume commercial laundry facility. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing shuttle systems, conveyors, dryers, washers, boilers, air compressors and related machinery.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, reads schematics, and maintains safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial laundry equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial laundry equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Troubleshoot shuttle systems, conveyors, dryers, washers, and finishing equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout policies.
• Keep shop and work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with production management to ensure reliability.
