The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, reads schematics, and maintains safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial laundry equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial laundry equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a high-volume commercial laundry facility. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial laundry equipment, including shuttle systems, conveyors, industrial dryers, washers, boilers, air compressors, and related production machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial laundry equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and maintain shuttle systems, conveyors, industrial dryers, washers, and finishing equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Inspect equipment regularly for safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout policies, and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and work area.
• Work closely with production management to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or commercial laundry environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial dryers, conveyor systems, and shuttle systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment with heat, noise, and moving machinery.
• Must be able to work safely around industrial equipment.
