Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in industrial or construction environment with exposure to specialized craft work.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or project plans.
• Knowledge of basic industrial safety practices and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good physical endurance for manual labor.
• Must lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist with specialized craft activities under supervision (fabrication, welding, installation, or maintenance).
• Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment for the team.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, or shaping components.
• Assist with installation and assembly of industrial systems or machinery.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.
• Mix, pour, and apply materials like concrete or epoxy coatings.
• Assist in scaffolding assembly/disassembly for projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and report hazards.
• Perform quality checks to ensure project standards.
• Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
• Help troubleshoot basic issues with materials or equipment.
• Assist in training less experienced Laborer I team members.
• Support on-time task completion and project schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
