Qualifications

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or project plans.
• Knowledge of basic industrial safety practices and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Good physical endurance and the ability to perform manual labor tasks.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and handle a variety of work environments.
• Preferred experience in a specialized craft area (e.g., refractory, fabrication, scaffolding).
• Basic first aid or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with specialized craft activities under supervision.
• Transport and handle materials, tools, and equipment for the team.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, or shaping components.
• Assist in installing and assembling industrial systems or machinery.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and industrial machinery.
• Mix, pour, and apply materials like concrete or epoxy coatings.
• Assist in assembling and disassembling scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times.
• Perform quality checks to ensure project specifications.
• Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in good condition.
• Support the team in troubleshooting basic issues with materials or equipment.
• Assist in training less experienced Laborer I team members.
• Help maintain project timelines and complete tasks on schedule.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
