Job summary

Sirius Staffing seeks a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support laboratory testing, quality control, and production operations in Theodore, AL. The role involves analyzing materials and specimens to ensure alignment with quality specifications.

You will operate and maintain analytical equipment (GC, titrators, UV/Vis, pH meters) and help document results for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related science with at least 2 years of laboratory experience in an industrial chemical environment.
ACS Course option considered with at least 3 years of chemical industry lab experience emphasizing wet procedures.
Hands-on experience with wet chemistry techniques and routine analytical testing.
Experience operating GC and automated titration equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform chemical and physical laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Set up, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory equipment (GC, titrators, UV/Vis, pH meters, Karl Fischer, centrifuges, balances).
Conduct routine wet chemistry analyses and titrations per procedures.
Collect and analyze samples from production processes for QC and process monitoring.
Accurately document results using records, databases, and lab software.
