Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory or analytical testing.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and multitask.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Work in areas of extreme heat and cold.
• Familiarity with Metric to Decimal conversion.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules and perform duties safely and effectively.

• Adhere to QA/QC requirements including proper glassware cleaning and handling procedures.
• Assist with all lab responsibilities: updating production logs, writing reports, lab testing and analysis.
• Understand, record, and react to environmental issues within the plant.
• Coordinate with R&D on testing methods and formulate equations in Excel.
• Provide write-ups on product quality and test methods.
• Develop SOPs on lab functions.
• Review logs and reports to ensure production levels and identify abnormalities with equipment or processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
