The role focuses on routine and non-routine analyses to keep shipments within specification. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or science and lab experience, with rotating shifts in a 24‑hour continuous process environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry/Science or related degree preferred.
• Experience in a lab setting required.
• Able to perform chemical analyses using approved methods and techniques.
• Working in a plant process area is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and environmental chemistry support for Port Neal Complex.
• Ensure product shipments meet specifications.
• Complete routine water, process, and product analyses accurately and timely.
• Record and communicate results; escalate non-routine analyses promptly.
• Follow CF and government guidelines; adhere to safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively within the laboratory and other departments.
• Take initiative and demonstrate good judgment in problem-solving.
