Job summary

Salute is a leading provider of data center infrastructure services and is seeking a Data Center Kitchen Technician to maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment and HVAC systems.

You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors to ensure safe and reliable operations in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes energy efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a commercial/industrial kitchen repair setting.
• EPA 608 universal license preferred or obtainable within 30 days.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ovens, steamers, dishwashers, mixers, fryers, and refrigeration units.
• Maintain and repair commercial HVAC and exhaust/ventilation systems in kitchen environments.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and replace worn parts.
• Coordinate with vendors for major repairs, installations, or equipment replacements.
• Maintain detailed service logs and CMMS records.
