Job summary

Advanced Electrical Technologies (AET) is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and mentoring apprentices while following NEC and site-specific guidelines.

Located across multiple West Coast divisions, this position requires strong technical expertise, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required and eligibility to be covered under the company’s vehicle insurance policy.
• Hold an EL01 Washington Journeyman Card or an Oregon General Journeyman Card.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial/commercial electrical work.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• May be required to meet facial hair standards per OSHA Respiratory Protection standard (29 CFR 1910.34).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles for job duties.
• Apply safety procedures and safeguards on site.
• Mentor apprentices on the job.
• Interpret blueprints and diagrams to plan installations.
• Install and bend conduits (GRC, EMT, PVC).
• Install and troubleshoot electrical systems in industrial/commercial settings.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Prepare records and documentation for inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with other trades and participate in site meetings.
