Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC is seeking an IT Systems & Process Professional to drive digital manufacturing initiatives by implementing, supporting, and continuously improving the systems that power production excellence.

You will collaborate with production, engineering and business leaders to deliver technology solutions that boost efficiency, reliability, and compliance across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Associate degree with relevant experience considered.
• Equivalent industrial IT experience may be considered.
• Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, configure, and upgrade manufacturing applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on support for production, engineering, and office technology environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across operational and business systems.
• Lead local implementation of global IT and digital manufacturing projects.
• Partner with production engineers, process owners, and managers to deliver technology solutions that drive efficiency and reliability.
• Support networking, servers, virtualization platforms, databases, cloud technologies, and industrial systems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and technology roadmaps.
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer to ensure long-term success and sustainability.
• Promote continuous improvement through data-driven problem solving and technology optimization.
• Support compliance with Sandvik standards and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
