Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America in Wisconsin is seeking an on-site Software Developer to build interactive database applications for mill IT systems using VB.NET/C#, .NET Framework 4+, WinForms, and SQL Server. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, analytical skills, training others, and supporting enterprise systems with PI-OLE/PI-SDK tooling and related OPC data historians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, training, and experience.
• Experience with VB.net/C#, .NET Framework 4+, Git, WinForms, SQL Server 2017+ and writing SQL queries.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive data base applications to improve productivity.
• Write, develop, debug, diagram, code, and document programs.
• Provide support and training to in-house personnel.
• Research, analysis, development, and maintenance of Trident and peripherals.
• Assist with capital project requests and management as needed.
