Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America seeks a software/support specialist to provide application support around data historians (OSI/PI), and interfaces between OT and business networks for multiple mills across the United States.

The role requires strong SQL Server and Windows expertise, plus ability to collaborate in a fast-paced industrial environment and travel on a project-by-project basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study is required.
• Experience configuring and supporting PI historians and control networks (PI-OPCDA/OPCHA/OPCUA).
• Strong SQL Server experience and ability to write queries, procedures and views.
• Proficiency with .NET technologies and modern web development.
• Experience with source control (Git) and Web development frameworks (ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Blazor).

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for data historian (OSI/PI) and OT-business interfaces.
• Set up interfaces between OT networks and business IT across multiple mills in the United States.
• Work with SQL Server, Windows/AD, OSI/PI, and PARCView environments.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced industrial setting and travel on a project-by-project basis.
