Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Brunswick, Georgia team. You will help ensure the reliability, performance, and security of technology systems supporting Brunswick mill operations, working with site operations, process control, automation, and enterprise technology teams.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and OT systems, deliver end-user computing and server support, and help implement solutions to improve reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with incident management and ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, SolarWinds).
• Hands-on experience with administering/troubleshooting camera systems (Genetec, Milestone, Axis).
• Hands-on support for Windows desktop/server, tablets, peripherals, network technologies, Active Directory, etc.
• Ability to troubleshoot, implement solutions, and document work.
• Willingness to participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable IT and OT support to enable safe, efficient mill operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, infrastructure, and industrial tech issues; identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Support and maintain critical tech systems including end-user computing, servers, security and production camera platforms, sensors, and connected OT.
• Partner with operations, process control, cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise teams to meet business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardization, knowledge sharing, problem solving, and operational excellence.
• Translate business needs into practical tech solutions while aligning with company standards and cybersecurity.
