Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a plant technician based in White Oak, MD to support the print operations for WSJ, Barron's, and NY Post. You will troubleshoot industrial machinery, perform PC support, and maintain critical systems across plateroom, press/reel, and mailroom.

This role requires 3–5 years electro-mechanical experience, a technical degree or equivalent training, and willingness to work nights/weekends. Dow Jones offers comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electro-mechanical experience.
• Prioritization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
• A technical Degree or equivalent military training or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery including PLC and relay controls, variable speed drives, and pneumatic controls.
• Have basic electrical/electronics knowledge and use electrical test equipment such as a VOM meter and oscilloscope.
• Provide PC support including Windows operating system and basic networking.
• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
